About SuccessWithX

SuccessWithX helps people succeed with X, where X can be any worthwhile goal, skill, project, role, relationship, group, organization, or system.

The core idea is simple: success is not magic. Success comes from clearly defining the result you want, understanding what causes that result, taking action, evaluating against a standard, improving, and repeating.

SuccessWithX is being built to guide that process at three levels: succeeding yourself, helping another person succeed, and helping groups produce results that may look impossible at first.

Three Kinds of Success

  1. Success for yourself: Build the skill, reach the goal, complete the project, improve the relationship, or perform the role well.
  2. Success when guiding others: Help a student, child, employee, client, athlete, teammate, or friend succeed with something important.
  3. Success for groups: Help a team, class, family, company, or organization achieve results that are unusually good, such as winning a championship, transforming the culture, doubling profit, or becoming excellent at what matters most.

Why This Matters

Many people want better results, but they get stuck because they do not have a clear path.

They may have goals, information, motivation, or advice, but they often lack a system that helps them reliably turn effort into real-world performance.

The same problem shows up when people guide others or lead groups. Good intentions are not enough. To produce great results, people need clear standards, strong models of what causes success, useful feedback, and disciplined improvement over time.

SuccessWithX is designed to make that path clearer, more practical, and easier to follow.

How SuccessWithX Works

SuccessWithX uses a five-step model that can be applied to almost anything.

  1. Define Success (Gold)
Clearly define what successful outcomes look like; create an aligned standard.
  2. Build or Learn a Causal Model
Identify the drivers that maximize the odds of success.
  3. Execute in the Real World
Apply your causal model in the real world.
  4. Evaluate Results
Compare your results against your standard (your gold).
  5. Improve and Repeat
Improve your model and your execution over time until you get your gold.

This process can be used by an individual, by someone coaching or teaching another person, or by a leader helping a group improve together.
